BEGINNING COURSES FOR CHILDREN & PRE-TEENS:

WHEN DO THEY MEET?
Once each week for 8 consecutive weeks from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturdays

WHO CAN ENROLL?
Children ages 4 to 7
Pre-teens ages 8 to 12

WHAT WILL STUDENTS LEARN?
Students receive basic training on runway technique. They are also given instruction on performing a 30-second television commercial.

ABOUT RUNWAY?
Runway training prepares students for fashion shows, and includes instruction on the model’s stance when entering and exiting the runway, walking turns, eye contact, facial expressions, arm & hand movement, and runway choreography.
Runway training helps children to carry themselves with poise and confidence.

ABOUT COMMERCIALS?
Learning how to perform in commercials prepares students for television, radio, and voice-over bookings. It includes instruction on making the message believable, understandable, interesting, exciting, and effective.
This training provides students with the ability to speak in front of groups with confidence and enthusiasm. It also benefits students throughout their lives whether giving a book report, performing in a school play, or going on a job interview.

WHAT IS GRADUATION?
The 8th class consists of a graduation fashion show in which parents, family, and friends are invited to attend. Students perform the runway routine learned during the course, as well as their television commercials. Students receive a diploma, and parents may take as many pictures as they wish!
Upon graduation from the Beginning Courses, students may choose to enroll in the Advanced Courses and prepare to become ALIX ADAMS models.

WHAT ARE THE TUITION & TERMS?
The tuition for the Beginning Children’s & Pre-teen Courses is $196, which can be paid in weekly installments of $22. plus a $20 deposit, or in full.
