





BEGINNING COURSES FOR MALE TEENS & ADULTS:
WHEN DOES IT MEET?
Our Male Professional Course is a 10-class program. The course meets once per week on Saturdays from 2:00 – 4:00 PM.
WHO CAN ENROLL?
Males age 13 and up
WHO TEACHES THE CLASSES?
Instructors are experienced and working ALIX ADAMS models and actors.
WHAT WILL THEY LEARN?
The Male Professional Course is designed to train students in all phases of male modeling while reinforcing self-confidence and self-assurance.

ABOUT RUNWAY I?
This class gives students an introduction to basic runway movement. Students learn about all elements of runway modeling. The instructor is a top ALIX ADAMS male fashion model.
ABOUT RUNWAY II?
This class teaches students runway turns, as well as creative movement. Students also learn about arm and hand movement, facial expressions, and runway poses.
ABOUT PHOTO ACTING?
This class is taught by an ALIX ADAMS client. Photo Acting gives students the opportunity to make connections with clients who may book them in the future. Students learn how to become a character in front of the camera and evoke various emotions through posing and facial expressions.
ABOUT THE MODEL LOOK?
ALIX ADAMS owner, Dick Anderson helps students to create the perfect model look. Handouts are distributed to assist students with dressing and looking their best. A licensed beautician also gives tips on hair styles and skin and nail care.
ABOUT THE PHOTO SHOOT?
This class consists of an actual photo shoot with an ALIX ADAMS fashion photographer. The instructor gives direction on moving in front of the camera and how to best model a product.
Students are given a CD with 20 photos from the shoot.
ABOUT BUSINESS POLICIES & PROCEDURES?
This class marks the beginning of the transition from student to model. An agency representative speaks to students about the booking process, how models get booked, how to behave during bookings, the ALIX ADAMS image of professionalism, and how models are compensated for work.
ABOUT DRAMA?
This class consists of commercial training for television and video bookings. Students learn how to slate for auditions, be articulate when speaking, prop usage, and how to sell a product with energy.
The instructor films student’s doing a practice video demo. In the last half-hour the instructor distributes a memo entitled "Making A Demo." He discusses the assignment for the next class, which allows students to select one commercial and memorize it for the following class.
ABOUT VIDEO DEMO?
Students come to class having memorized the selected commercial and prepared to video-tape it. The instructor tapes the students as he does the commercial. The Alix Admas video studio is used for this purpose. Each student receives a CD that contains this video. Those who elect to have a portfolio on the Alix Adams web site will be able to include their demo tape in their talent portfolio.
ABOUT RUNWAY III?
This is the final class before the graduation fashion show. Students are given choreography for their runway performance. Instructors also demonstrate attitude and personality on the runway.
WHAT IS GRADUATION?
The 10th class consists of a graduation fashion show in which family and friends are invited to attend. Students perform the runway routine learned during the course and receive a diploma.
Graduation from the Male Professional Course certifies student’s professional model status. Graduates are then eligible to sign the Agency Agreement to become ALIX ADAMS Models.

WHAT ARE THE TUITION & TERMS?
The tuition for the Male Professional Course is $345, which can be paid in weekly installments of $32 plus a $25 deposit, or in full.
